One of the key perceptual errors that contributes to accidents on the road is “looking but failing to see”. Though this has previously been attributed to failures of attention or time gaps, the recent change blindness literature suggests another alternative. Researchers have proposed that we have a poor memory for the visual world, and as such, participants find it very hard to notice a change between two successive pictures providing the transients that normally catch attention are masked. 3, record 36, English, - change%20blindness

2, record 37, French, - c%C3%A9cit%C3%A9%20inattentionnelle

[At] the time of Mullin's murders, the police suffered from what is known as linkage blindness - they were unable to relate one of these killings to another because of two factors. First, the murders did not seem to be connected by use of a similar weapon or a similar MO. The victims differed from one another in age, sex, and other characteristics, and so did the circumstances of their deaths. The second reason was that Ed Kemper [another serial killer] was also operating in the same approximate area at the same time. 3, record 46, English, - linkage%20blindness

In order to determine the protein structure of Norrie's Disease Protein (NDP) I made comparisons using protein data banks consisting of various proteins. I compared the proteins with similar sequences to NDP, looking for similarities. Using the data that I found from the data banks for other similar proteins and looking at their manner of folding, I have proposed a partial structure for NDP using the DNA sequences. Norrin is the base protein that is genetically mutated to give NDP, which is the cause of Norrie's Disease. 1, record 57, English, - Norrie%27s%20disease
