The Respiratory Protection Program (RPP) aims to protect the health of DND (Department of National Defence) and CF (Canadian Forces) personnel working in contaminated atmospheres where engineering and other controls to eliminate the hazard are not possible. It provides the procedural information and guidance associated with controlling health hazards where departmental members are endangered by exposure to a hazardous substance in the air. Le Programme de protection respiratoire(PPR) a pour objet de protéger la santé du personnel du MDN(Ministère de la Défense nationale) et des FC(Forces canadiennes) œuvrant dans une atmosphère contaminée, où l'ingénierie et d’autres méthodes visant à éliminer le danger sont inapplicables.
