Les tuyaux d’évacuation récoltent les eaux des sanitaires et les acheminent vers la colonne de chute verticale. Cette colonne de 3 po de diamètre se continue sous la dalle de béton du sous-sol, où elle devient le drain de bâtiment de 4 po de diamètre. Ce drain horizontal légèrement incliné se dirige tout droit vers l’égout. Il peut collecter au passage les eaux pluviales provenant de la toiture et celles du drain des semelles de fondation.
