[Nuclear radiation detector.] Pile-Up Rejection. If two pulses arrive within the so-called measurement time (peaking time) the output pulse will have a distorted amplitude. The pile-up rejector circuit is used to prevent the measurement of these distorted pulses. The pile-up rejector is implemented by adding a fast pulse-shaping amplifier with a very short shaping time constant in parallel with the slow spectroscopy amplifier. 1, record 4, English, - pile%2Dup%20rejector%20circuit

[Détecteur de rayonnements nucléaires. ] Circuit anti-empilement […] 1, record 4, French, - circuit%20anti%2Dempilement

All types of generation have an installed capacity and an operational capacity. The installed capacity shows the maximum power that a machine can operate at. The operational capacity is the average capacity that is obtained across a year, and will depend on the site and how generation devices are used. For example, modern wind turbines have installed capacity of 1MW and above. 2, record 6, English, - power%20produced

Fixers can be reused for a certain number of rolls of film. As the fixer gets old with use, the fixing time will need to be increased accordingly. These times will depend on the fixer and the type of film. With most traditional films, you can tell if the film is under-fixed when the film base is cloudy instead of clear. Over-fixing, however, can cause straining. 1, record 7, English, - over%2Dfixing
Record number: 7, Textual support number: 2 CONT
Standard practices in fixation must be followed closely since there are dangers in both overfixing and underfixing. Inadequate fixing often produces stains on prints. Overfixation tends to produce a thinning or weakening of the photographic image. 3, record 7, English, - over%2Dfixing

1, record 9, French, - densit%C3%A9%20des%20d%C3%A9fauts
