Time-weighted average (TWA) exposure limit is the time-weighted average concentration of a chemical in air for a normal 8-hour work-day and 40-hour workweek to which nearly all workers may be exposed day after day without harmful effects. Time-weighted average means that the average concentration has been calculated using the duration of exposure to different concentrations of the chemical during a specific time period. In this way, higher and lower exposures are averaged over the day or week. 1, record 35, English, - time%2Dweighted%20average%20exposure%20limit

2, record 35, French, - limite%20d%26rsquo%3Bexposition%20moyenne%20pond%C3%A9r%C3%A9e%20en%20fonction%20du%20temps
