The planned working time establishes a baseline hours of work for each employee. This includes the number of hours per day; month; week; year and working days. The planned working time for part time employees identifies their weekly working hours. The planned working time is read by CATS to determine what an employee's target working hours are. In addition, the planned working time infotype is used to define an employee on compressed or a variable shift scheduling agreement.
