The imaging resolution of a conventional optical microscope is limited by diffraction to ~200 nm [nanometers] in the visible spectrum. Efforts to overcome such limits have stimulated the development of optical nanoscopes using metamaterial superlenses, nanoscale solid immersion lenses and molecular fluorescence microscopy. 1, record 1, English, - optical%20nanoscope

» 4, record 2, French, - leucine

Dynamics is a term that covers all of the intramolecular motions of proteins. These may be the motions of individual atoms, groups of atoms, or whole sections of the protein. These motions can be divided into three broad categories, characterized by the extent and time scale of the motion and by the method that is used to study it; ... 1) atomic fluctuations, ... 2) collective motions, ... 3) triggered conformational changes.... As the predictive abilities increase, the study of protein dynamics will have application to practical problems in endeavors such as genetic engineering or the effort to modify an enzyme to better serve an industrial process. 2, record 3, English, - protein%20dynamics

La dynamique des protéines [...] étudie [...] les mouvements moléculaires [...] des protéines. [...] 2, record 3, French, - dynamique%20des%20prot%C3%A9ines
Record number: 3, Textual support number: 1 OBS
