The technology of pneumatic impact wrenches is different from that of other portable fastening machines with rotor stalling which operate on the basis of the dynamic stall torque. After a certain movement of the rotor and of the moving masses, all or most of the rotational kinetic energy is transformed in the form of impacts. These impacts are received tangentially on the output shaft, which is not directly mechanically linked with the rotor, thus creating a succession of instantaneous rotational torques of irregular values which are transmitted to the part to be screwed. The number of impacts per revolution would depend on the design of the impact wrench. 1, record 1, English, - pneumatic%20impact%20wrench

1, record 1, French, - cl%C3%A9%20%C3%A0%20chocs%20pneumatique

Actuator disk theory. The simplest model of a horizontal axis wind turbine (HAWT) is one in which the turbine rotor is replaced by an actuator disk which removes energy from the wind. As the wind strikes the actuator disk on the upwind side, the pressure rises there, and the wind is deflected away from the disk, causing a large wake downstream of the disk. Actuator disk theory relates the pressure drop across the disk to the change in wake size and the energy which can be extracted from the wind. 2, record 3, English, - actuator%20disk%20theory

Givrage.

1, record 11, French, - m%C3%A9langeur%20dynamique

Mixer using a high-shear mixing action for the mixing of gaseous and liquid bleaching chemicals (e.g. chlorine dioxide solution, gaseous chlorine, gaseous oxygen, hydrogen peroxide). This mixer provides greater mixing efficiency than the older fashion peg mixers and the in-line static mixers. 1, record 12, English, - high%20shear%20mixer
