Le E-RAT-ICATOR, arme qui a été développée au Japon, a nécessité plus de quatre ans de recherche. Son fonctionnement est simple : il bombarde les rats d’ultrasons qui font naître un stress tellement grand que les facultés de reproduction comme les habitudes alimentaires sont bouleversées. [...] Le E-RAT-ICATOR, qui utilise les ultrasons à des fréquences variant de 15 à 20 kiloHertz, peut être employé pour un temps indéfini. En l'utilisant fréquemment, cela assure le départ et le non-retour des rats.
