There is not as such a World Cup in fencing. "Fencing World Cup" and "World Cup" are used as generics for one of the five World Cups in fencing: "Epée World Cup - Men", "Epée World Cup - Women", "Foil World Cup - Men", "Foil World Cup - Women", and "Sabre World Cup" (men only). There are from 7 to 10 events per World Cup, depending on the fencing weapon involved. The 32 first finishers receive points. Il n’ existe pas comme tel de Coupe du Monde en escrime. «Coupe du Monde» et «Coupe du Monde d’escrime» sont utilisés comme génériques pour désigner l'une ou l'autre des cinq Coupes du Monde en escrime : la «Coupe du Monde d’épée-Hommes», la «Coupe du Monde d’épée-Femmes», la «Coupe du Monde de fleuret-Hommes», la «Coupe du Monde de fleuret-Femmes» et la «Coupe du Monde de sabre»(hommes seulement). Chaque Coupe du Monde comprend de 7 à 10 épreuves selon le type d’arme. Les 32 premiers au classement de chaque épreuve reçoivent des points.
