Record 1 2004-02-16

English

Subject field(s)
  • Air Pollution
  • Atmospheric Physics
DEF

A set of conditions indicated by meteorological forecasts, air sampling, etc., where authorities responsible for air pollution control ... recommend or impose a reduction of pollutant output by industry and other sources ....

French

Domaine(s)
  • Pollution de l'air
  • Physique de l'atmosphère
CONT

Record 3 1986-01-17

English

Subject field(s)
  • Air Pollution
CONT

This action will limit projected status-quo increases in NOx emissions and hence reduce the contribution of LDV's [light duty vehicles] to acid precipitation; it should also lead to a general improvement in ambient air quality in and around urban centres and to decreasing the LDV contribution to ambient ozone concentration and to regional ozone episodes.
