The issue of metalwork being brought from the West to the Crusader East is problematic, and specific examples are difficult to identify, despite the textual indications and practical consideration that make such activity likely. It is therefore remarkable that our prime examples in this period turn out to be a handsome group of pieces containing both aristocratic silver for secular use and liturgical silver to use at mass. 2, record 2, English, - liturgical%20silver
Record number: 2, Textual support number: 1 OBS
A distinction exists in English and in French with how to designate the articles made of precious metals manufactured by a craftsperson. In English, for example, the designation "silver" refers specifically to articles made of silver or an alloy of silver. In French, the designation "orfèvrerie" refers more generally to the articles manufactured by a craftsperson regardless of what precious metal or metals are used to create the articles. 3, record 2, English, - liturgical%20silver

Record number: 4, Textual support number: 1 OBS
Climate changes may result from such factors as changes in solar emission, long-period changes in the Earth's orbital elements (eccentricity, obliquity of the ecliptic, precession of the equinoxes), natural internal processes of the climate system, or anthropogenic forcing (for example, increasing atmospheric concentrations of carbon dioxide and other greenhouse gases). 3, record 4, English, - climatic%20change
Record number: 4, Textual support number: 2 OBS
The term "climate change" is often used in a more restricted sense, to denote a significant change (for example, a change having important economic, environmental and social effects) in the mean values of a meteorological element (in particular temperature or amount of precipitation) in the course of a certain period of time, where the means are taken over periods of the order of a decade or longer. 3, record 4, English, - climatic%20change

Record number: 4, Textual support number: 1 OBS
Record number: 4, Textual support number: 2 OBS
3, record 4, French, - changement%20climatique
Record number: 4, Textual support number: 3 OBS
2, record 43, French, - saison

GPS measurements can be differentiated between receivers, satellites, and epochs. Although many combinations are possible, the present convention for differential processing of GPS phase measurements is to take differences between receivers (single difference), then between satellites (double difference), then between measurement epochs (tripe difference). A single difference measurement between receivers is the instantaneous difference in phase of the signal from the same satellite, measured by two receivers simultaneously. A double difference measurement is obtained by differentiating the single difference for one satellite with respect to the corresponding single difference for a chosen reference satellite. A tripe difference measurement is the difference between a double difference at one epoch of time and the same double difference at the previous epoch of time. 1, record 72, English, - difference%20processing

1, record 72, French, - traitement%20des%20diff%C3%A9rences

For static positioning, the reconstructed carrier phase is sampled at epochs determined by a clock in the receiver. The reconstructed carrier phase changes according to the continuously integrated Doppler shift of the incoming signal, biased by the integral of the frequency offset between the satellite and receiver reference oscillators. The reconstructed carrier phase can be related to the satellite-to-receiver range, once the initial range (or phase ambiguity) has been determined. A change in the satellite-to-receiver range of one wavelength of the GPS carrier (19 cm for L1) will result in a one-cycle change in the phase of the reconstructed carrier. 1, record 73, English, - reconstructed%20carrier%20phase

1, record 85, French, - tourner

Wegmann defines "superposed tectonics" (...) which is the interplay between two kinds of structures attributable to different epochs in the same region. "Superposed structures are only exceptionally of the same style. In most cases they are distinguished by their geometric character and by the nature of transformations" (...) It is thus a question of superposition in time. It is also, very often, a superposition in space for the upper levels are deformed at the same time as the underlying basement already tectonized. The second tectonics affects the upper strata; in the deeper levels it is "superposed" in time on a first tectonics. 1, record 89, English, - superposed%20tectonics

1, record 89, French, - tectonique%20superpos%C3%A9e
