Saddle-notch corners: These are also known as saddle cope or round notch. They get their name from the saddle shaped notch cut into the bottom of each round log. This notch on the bottom of the top log straddles the top of the log coming from the perpendicular wall. Both logs then extend past the corner. The opposing walls of a saddle-notch corner system, both gable walls for example, start with a half log. This ensures that the logs overlap one another at the corners rather than butt into each other. The saddle-notch is one of the most traditional corner intersections and is favored by many handcrafters. 1, record 27, English, - saddle%2Dnotch%20corner

Swedish cope with saddle notch corners. Swedish Cope round logs give this profile option a precision-cut appearance. The Shell Fabric: Exterior is treated with a highly durable ultra thin coating which sheds water better than any known system. The woven fabric itself is a high count, double denier nylon, developed to withstand wind and rain. The interior is treated with Entrant's microporous waterproof, breathable composite. The insulation: A two layer, revolutionary laminate consisting of polyester, TEIJINCOMEX and wool. The first layer: Polyester and TEIJINCONEX; the TEIJINCOMEX, an aramid polyamide fiber with the supreme capabilities for heat retention while wicking and dispersing moisture; blended with polyester, supple enough to conform to the contour of the body while it creates dead air space. The second layer: A polyester and wool blend; providing warmth and furthering moisture dispersement. The Lining: Either aluminium coated mesh; reflecting body heat while remaining breathable. Or, brushed tricot; warm breathable and quick drying. 1, record 57, English, - thermoclad
