Water spray test: The exposed surface of the package is uniformly subjected to a spray equivalent to a rainfall of 50 mm/h impinging at an angle of 45° for a period of at least one hour. During this test, the package is supported so that it does not rest in a pool of water, and the spraying arrangement is such that at the conclusion of the test, the entire surface of the package is wet.
