An ancient game or event of a sporting competition in which mounted knights were trying to cut as many tent's strainers they can with their sabre while horse-ridden; nowadays, a game reproduced in a formation-type performance by mounted horsemen.

There is not as such a World Cup in fencing. "Fencing World Cup" and "World Cup" are used as generics for one of the five World Cups in fencing: "Epée World Cup - Men", "Epée World Cup - Women", "Foil World Cup - Men", "Foil World Cup - Women", and "Sabre World Cup" (men only). There are from 7 to 10 events per World Cup, depending on the fencing weapon involved. The 32 first finishers receive points.
