Les expériences en blocs aléatoires complets. Dans le cas des expériences en champ, au sens large(champ, verger, forêt, etc.), on entend classiquement par bloc un ensemble de parcelles voisines et très semblables les unes aux autres, quant aux conditions de croissance de la végétation.
