Spatial Archive and Interchange Format (SAIF, pronounced safe) is a Canadian geomatics standard for the exchange of geographic data. The underlying model itself is devoid of geographic meaning; rather it deals with fundamental concepts from mathematics and computer science. SAIF uses an object oriented data model, and consists of definitions of the underlying building blocks, including tuples, sets, lists, enumerations, and primitives. It also includes the rules for defining higher level constructs, and the SAIF standard defines a base set of approximately 300 classes. These include such things as Points, Spatial Reference Systems, Map Projections, Arcs, and Polygons.

It handles both topographic map and hydrographic chart data and has been proposed as a basis for both national and international standards. MACDIF is built upon a number of other standards; an important on being ISO's Open System Interconnect (OSI), which provides a layered architecture for data communications. Ce fichier de paiements peut comprendre des paiements ordinaires au titre des comptes fournisseurs, des paiements prioritaires(maximum de 100 par demande de paiement) des paiements en devises(dollars américains, livres sterling, francs français et belges et marks allemands), les paiements dans d’autres devises(distinctes des cinq devises courantes) et les paiements au titre des CBM [compte bancaire ministériel]. Les catégories de paiements traitées sont le chèque, le dépôt direct et l'échange de données informatisées. Plusieurs demandes de paiement par fichier sont acceptées.
