Aunque las variedades japonesas de arroz fueron introducidas en Taiwán desde 1912, no daban rendimientos tan buenos como las nativas, especialmente en el sur de la isla y en general en las tierras bajas. A principios de 1926 comienza un programa completo de hibridación y prueba para desarrollar variedades de arroz del tipo japónica apropiadas al clima tropical de Taiwán. Entre 1931 y 1943 los investigadores desarrollaron una serie de variedades del tipo japónica llamadas ponlais (arroz celestial), que daban rendimientos tan buenos como las variedades locales o aun mejores, y producían granos de la calidad que atraía a los japoneses.

A survey of Statistics Canada, number 2701. The survey collects data reported in traffic flow format from air carriers across Canada. Data collected includes notably the origin point, flight number, number of revenue passengers and cargo weight. Transport Canada uses the data for measuring activity at major airports, for evaluating their capacity and for developing an overall planning strategy for Canada's airports. The information is also used by the Canadian Transportation Agency for evaluating the adequacy of air services and by Statistics Canada for providing estimates of provincial passenger and cargo flows.

Telles que le "Bronzé à large poitrine"(Broad Breasted Bronze) et le "Grand Blanc"(Large White). Ce sont des animaux de forte taille : les mâles adultes pèsent de 15 à 20 kg, les femelles de 10 à 12. Une sélection intensive a permis d’obtenir une conformation excellente avec des "filets" que l'on peut distribuer en rôtis ou escalopes. 2) races de format léger.
