Hydrogen chloride and inorganic chlorides are introduced into the troposphere by volcanic emissions, by seaspray evaporation and by human activity. Removal of these compounds by rain is so rapid that their concentrations decrease rapidly with altitude. Molecular chlorine (Cl2) escaping from industrial processes is also rapidly removed by chemical processes in the atmosphere.

L'antimoine, sous sa forme la plus courante, est un solide blanc d’argent ressemblant aux métaux, mais cassant [...]. Au point de vue chimique, il est intermédiaire entre les métaux et les non-métaux : c'est un métalloïde ou semi-métal. [...] Numéro atomique : 51. Masse atomique : 121, 75.
