A form of degeneration in which the tissue involved is converted to a homogeneous or granular acellular mass with bright acidophilic staining reaction resembling that of fibrin. 1, record 1, English, - fibrinoid%20degeneration
Record number: 1, Textual support number: 1 OBS
Do not confuse with fibrinous degeneration in which there is deposit of fibrin, rather than fibrin-like material, within the cells of the tissue. (cf. DOMED 1981, p. 352). 2, record 1, English, - fibrinoid%20degeneration

Record number: 1, Textual support number: 1 CONT
1, record 1, French, - d%C3%A9g%C3%A9n%C3%A9rescence%20fibrino%C3%AFde

Record number: 2, Textual support number: 1 OBS
[The field effect is] an experimentally observable effect (on reaction rates, etc.) of intramolecular coulombic interaction between the centre of interest and a remote pole or dipole, by direct action through space rather than through bonds. The magnitude of the field effect (or direct effect) is dependent on the intensity, orientation, and shortest distance between the centre of interest and the remote pole or dipole. An approach to its calculation was described by Kirkwood and Westheimer (1938). 1, record 2, English, - direct%20effect

Record number: 2, Textual support number: 1 OBS
1, record 2, French, - effet%20direct
