Undivided co-ownership exists when more than one person owns the same home. No legal transaction is required. For example, undivided co-ownership can be formed from an inheritance. In an undivided co-ownership, each co-owner has a share over the entire property. There is no "private portion" like in a condo. In other words, everybody has the same rights to all parts of the property. 2, record 1, English, - share

Oil slick dispersants. When oil ... is treated with a suitable surface active agent and agitation applied, the oil is broken up into particles ... so small that they constitute an oil-in-water emulsion ... Dispersants serve to increase the surface area of an oil spill and disperse oil globules throughout the layer volume water. This causes an accelerated degradation of oil by microbiological action. 7, record 31, English, - dispersant
Record number: 31, Textual support number: 1 OBS
The chemicals used to disperse the oil are emulsifiers. Although a chemist would never confuse the terms dispersant and emulsifier, the former designating a product which encourages the distribution of finely divided solids in a fluid, either liquid or gas, the latter referring to a product which encourages the colloidal dispersion of one liquid in another, the terms are synonymous in the field of oil pollution control. This is explained by the following sentence taken from "The Control of oil pollution on the sea and inland waters", edited by J. Wardley-Smith (source COCOB): "It was found ... [that the product] when sprayed on to the oil, effectively softened and dispersed it by means of emulsification ..." The dispersion is accomplished by products which emulsify the oil, i.e., emulsifiers. Dispersion is used in its general sense and hence dispersant simply means a product that causes spreading. Also dispersant is used more frequently than emulsifier. 8, record 31, English, - dispersant

Under the common law rule, a class gift had to be able to vest within the perpetuity period in its entirety. If the interests of some members might vest outside the period, even though the interests of other members would vest in time, the gift was wholly void. The statutes, however, provide that in such a situation the class may be split, by excluding those persons whose interests do not in fact vest in time. As at common law, the class closing rules are permitted to operate first and they may save the gift. Under the statutes one then uses the wait and see principle and the age reduction provision. After that class splitting is permitted. (Anger & Honsberger, 2nd ed., 1985, p. 536). 1, record 43, English, - class%20splitting

Molecular endocrinology and gene expression. Functional organization of the estrogen receptor and its involvement in mammary carcinogenesis. Estrogens and estrogen antagonists represent a group of clinically useful hormones and drugs that act through a nuclear receptor to modulate the transcriptional activity of a set of genes involved most notably in female reproductive physiology. The receptor for estrogens belongs to a superfamily of intracellular receptors that mediate the effects of the other gonadal and adrenal steroids, retinoids, thyroid hormones, and vitamin D. Common features shared by the intracellular receptors include organization into discrete functional domains responsible for ligand recognition, sequence-specific DNA binding, nuclear localization, and activation of transcription. 1, record 64, English, - sequence%20specific%20DNA%20binding%20ligand

From [an] industrial point of view, whenever multiconstituent liquids are submitted to long-lasting temperature gradients, they are liable to experience thermal diffusive flows, modifying the distribution of the species concentration. 5, record 94, French, - thermodiffusion
Record number: 94, Textual support number: 2 CONT
