Traumatisme crânien fermé. Dans ce type de lésion, il n’y a pas pénétration du crâne, ce dernier reste donc intact. Le cerveau est bousculé à l’intérieur du crâne, ce qui entraîne des ecchymoses et une lésion. Alors le cerveau gonfle et subit une rupture de vaisseau qui provoque des hématomes. Ces deux conditions, déclenchent des lésions supplémentaires.
