A symbol marking posthumous coinage on 1937 Canadian coins dated 1936. On the one-cent coin, the dot is just below the date; on the ten- and twenty-five-cent coins, it is below the ribbon tying the wreath at the bottom. Only the above three denominations have been found with a dot.

Marque de frappe posthume sur des pièces canadiennes frappées en 1937 et millésimées de 1936. Sur la pièce de un cent, le point se trouve juste sous le millésime; sur les pièces de dix et de vingt-cinq cents, il figure sous le ruban qui réunit les deux extrémités de la guirlande au bas du revers des pièces. Cette marque n’ a été retrouvée que sur ces seules trois monnaies.

OBS

Un point en relief est dit «globule» (nom masculin), en creux, «annelet» (nom masculin).
