Test for Special Form Radioactive Material. ... Percussion test. The material is placed on a lead sheet which is supported by a smooth essentially unyielding surface and struck by the flat face of a steel billet so as to produce an impact equivalent to that resulting from a free fall of 1.4 kg through 1 m. The flat face of the billet is 25 mm in diameter with the edges rounded off to a radius of 3 mm. The lead, of hardness number 3.5 to 4.5 on the Vickers scale and not more than 25 mm thick, covers an area greater than that covered by the material. A fresh surface of lead is used for each impact. The billet strikes the material so as to cause maximum damage. 1, record 5, English, - percussion%20test

1, record 5, French, - %C3%A9preuve%20de%20percussion

Record number: 6, Textual support number: 1 DEF
A form of softball for men and women with 10 players on the defensive team: 3 in the field, 3 on the bases, a pitcher, a shortstop, a catcher and a roover who is allowed to move anywhere though he usually plays in the area where the infield and the outfield meet. The game gets its name from the fact that the ball must be thrown 6 feet in the air by the pitcher; any ball so pitched without an attempt to strike it puts the batter out automatically. If pitched less than 6 feet high, it is declared "ball" by the referee; it takes 4 balls for a base on balls. Stolen bases on passed balls or otherwise are not permitted; the ball must be struck before a player on a base is allowed to run. The home plate is 18 inches by 4 feet. 2, record 6, English, - blooperball

1, record 6, French, - blooperball
