Third-hand smoke is a new word for the smoke that gets trapped in hair, skin, fabric (including clothing, curtains and car seats), carpet, furniture and toys. Each time someone smokes, smoke gets trapped in or on the fabric, furniture, walls and other objects around them. Third-hand smoke contains the same toxic chemicals as second-hand smoke. These chemicals stick around long after a smoker has put out a cigarette, cigar or pipe, and it builds up over time. The chemicals from the trapped smoke pollute the air and get into a person's lungs and body. 3, record 29, English, - third%2Dhand%20smoke

4, record 29, French, - fum%C3%A9e%20tertiaire

Hind legs of bacon pig, cured while still part of the carcass. 2, record 41, English, - gammon
Record number: 41, Textual support number: 1 CONT
Ham is a pig's hind leg, first cut off the carcass and then smoked, salted or dried (or a combination of these) for preservation. Gammon also comes from the hind leg but it is cured as part of a side of bacon and cut off after wards. Gammon may be smoked separately or left unsmoked but it is not matured long enough to have a strong ham flavor and does not keep for as long as ham, which is generally cured more slowly. 3, record 41, English, - gammon
Record number: 41, Textual support number: 2 CONT
For those who are unaware Gammon is from an Old Northern French word "Gambe" for hind leg of the pig or ham. However, if one wants a whole ham then a ham is ordered, if one wants part of the ham (usually boned and rolled or cut into steaks) that portion of the ham is usually called Gammon. All of our hams and gammon are cured using the over 300 year old "Wiltshire Cure" method. [Text accompanied by illustrations] 4, record 41, English, - gammon

The pulled pork sandwich is one of the famous categories in sandwiches for non-vegetarian lovers. Pork is pig's meat and in making the pulled pork sandwich, usually the meat of the pig's shoulder is used as it has lots of fat. The pulled pork sandwich is usually a favorite dish for the winters. It is warm and spicy and can be enjoyed during the winter season. It is a slow cooked dish and takes lot of time for its preparation. The pulled pork sandwich is made out of buns rather than that of the normal white breads or the sandwich breads. The sauce gets easily soaked up in the hamburger buns. 1, record 45, English, - pulled%20pork%20sandwich

Mirrored Lenses - FL (Flash): A coloured coating applied to the outside of the lens. The coating can be applied over any base colour lens, i.e. vermillon, amber, grey. Due to their reflective properties, any mirrored lens will appear darker since it will reflect a certain amount of light trying to reach the eye. A mirrored lens will also add an extra buffer against glare. Mirrored or "Flash" lenses are available in a variety of different colours. Unless otherwise marked, these lenses use Vermillon as a base colour . The following colours are available as a Flash coating: Gold Flash, Amber Flash, Bollé 100 Flash; Blue Flash; Silver Flash; Green Flash; Gun Flash. 1, record 94, English, - flash%20lenses
