If blanket modules contain lithium, a reaction occurs: the incoming neutron is absorbed by the lithium atom, which recombines into an atom of tritium and an atom of helium. The tritium can be removed from the blanket and recycled into the plasma as fuel. Blankets containing lithium are thus considered "breeding blankets" for tritium. Within the fusion reaction, tritium can be bred indefinitely. 2, record 2, English, - tritium%20breeding%20blanket

Record number: 2, Textual support number: 1 CONT
3, record 2, French, - couverture%20tritig%C3%A8ne

Record number: 10, Textual support number: 1 CONT

We performed five transfers of the ipsilateral fibula in the treatment of congenital pseudarthrosis of the tibia. In all cases, conventional treatment by intramedullary-rod and autogenous-iliac bone grafting had failed at least once. We hoped to avoid the use of contralateralfibular grafting or other methods that have not yet been proven effective. The ipsilateral fibula was transferred, and its vascular pedicle left intact and secured to both fragments of the tibial pseudarthrosis by cerclage wires. All five transfers have united and hypertrophied with growth. We believe this salvage method is superior to others not only because of the successful results, but also because the intact limb is left undisturbed. 2, record 16, English, - os%20odontoideum

In the production of filament non-wovens use can be made of yarn from a creel filled with spools of untwisted yarn, produced in a separate process, or of yarns spun and possibly drawn on the integrated non-woven machine. In the latter case a spun-bonded non-woven is produced. The drawn bundles of filaments are spread by air transport systems and laid down in layers on a conveyor belt. Thus an unbonded non-woven is formed, which is often held in place by suction through the conveyor belt. The non-woven is then bonded. 1, record 17, English, - spun%2Dbonded%20non%2Dwoven

Nonwoven geotextiles made in a continuous line process, in which filaments are extruded, drawn, formed into loose web, and bonded, are called spunbonded. Some people have a tendency to restrict the use of the term spunbonded to the heatbonded nonwovens. This tendency is not justified. The term spunbonded implies that spinning (extruding and drawing) and bonding the filaments are made continuously .... Most of the nonwoven geotextiles made from filaments are spunbonded. 3, record 17, English, - spun%2Dbonded%20non%2Dwoven
