English

Subject field(s)
  • Natural Gas and Derivatives
  • Anti-pollution Measures
  • Renewable Energy
CONT

Policies and regulations that encourage the use of hydrogen technologies include low carbon fuel regulations, carbon pricing, vehicle emissions regulations, zero-emission vehicle mandates, creation of emission-free zones, and renewable gas mandates in natural gas networks.

CONT

Hydrogen technology provides one realistic option for a green recovery, especially in the hard-to-decarbonise energy processes of heavy transport and industrial steel production.

Record 3 2022-08-31

English

Subject field(s)
  • Natural Gas and Derivatives
  • Renewable Energy
CONT

RNG is natural gas produced from organic waste from farms, forests, landfills, and water treatment plants. The gas is captured, cleaned, and injected in pipelines to be used in the same way as natural gas by homes, businesses, institutions, and industry.

CONT

Natural gas (NG) utilities are looking to decarbonize the NG grid by introducing both renewable natural gas (RNG) and hydrogen as alternative low-carbon chemical fuels.

French

Domaine(s)
  • Gaz naturel et dérivés
  • Énergies renouvelables
CONT

Subject field(s)
  • Types of Motor Vehicles and Bicycles
  • Compressed and Liquefied Gas (Petroleum)
CONT

In addition to being used directly as a fuel in FCEVs [fuel cell electric vehicles], hydrogen can enable higher amounts of renewable gas in natural gas supply networks that provide fuel for compressed natural gas (CNG) vehicles.

French

Domaine(s)
  • Sortes de véhicules automobiles et de bicyclettes
  • Gaz de pétrole comprimés et liquéfiés
CONT
