On a fait dans les États-Unis d’Amérique, près de Baltimore, de très beaux et bons grès-cérames d’un gris bleuâtre, avec quelques ornementations bleues, tout à fait semblables aux grès des bords du Rhin. Il paraît que la pâte a une grande homogénéité, et qu’elle n’est susceptible ni de gauchir, ni de se fendre.
