A complex, fully active enzyme, containing an apoenzyme and a coenzyme. Coenzymes can be metal ions (e.g. Na+, K+, Mg2+) or organic molecules such as coenzyme A, NAD, and pyridoxal phosphate. Some coenzymes are tightly bound to the enzymes as prosthetic groups (e.g. NAD and NADP); other groups can be removed easily, e.g. by dialysis. 2, record 1, English, - holoenzyme

2, record 1, French, - holoenzyme

The heme enzymes catalase and peroxidase, which have distinctive absorption spectra due to their heme prosthetic groups, show transient changes in their spectra on mixing with hydrogen peroxide, their substrate, which reflect the formation and decomposition of their enzyme-substrate complexes. 3, record 2, English, - prosthetic%20group

Record number: 2, Textual support number: 1 CONT
3, record 2, French, - groupement%20prosth%C3%A9tique

An adsorbent prepared by immobilizing pyridoxamine phosphate as a ligand on CNBr-activated Sepharose was ... used for the purification of glutamate-oxoaloacetate transaminase, which has pyrodixal phosphate as a coenzyme. From the chromatographic pattern, it is clear that the holoenzyme (containing enzyme) is not adsorbed on this adsorbent, but the apoenzyme is adsorbed. 3, record 3, English, - holoenzyme

3, record 3, French, - holoenzyme
