One aspect that has received substantial scientific attention recently is fisheries‐induced evolution (FIE). Increasing evidence indicates that intensive fishing has the potential to exert strong directional selection on life‐history traits, behaviour, physiology, and morphology of exploited fish. Of particular concern is that reversing evolutionary responses to fishing can be much more difficult than reversing demographic or phenotypically plastic responses. 2, record 1, English, - fisheries%E2%80%90induced%20evolution

A second channel [through which exchange rates are believed to affect productivity] is the factor price hypothesis ... When the exchange rate appreciates, this should make the use of capital more attractive than labour in the production process since the exchange rate affects the cost of labour. Over time this would lead to an increase in the use of capital, a decrease in labour intensity, and an improvement in productivity. 1, record 2, English, - factor%20price%20hypothesis

1, record 2, French, - hypoth%C3%A8se%20des%20prix%20comme%20facteur

The first channel [through which exchange rate are believed to affect productivity] is the exchange rate sheltering hypothesis, also known as the "lazy manufacturers hypothesis". According to this theory, lower exchange rates increase firms' relative international competitiveness, making them more profitable but reducing the incentive to make productivity-enhancing investments. 1, record 3, English, - exchange%20rate%20sheltering%20hypothesis

1, record 3, French, - hypoth%C3%A8se%20du%20taux%20de%20change%20refuge
