1, record 6, French, - politique%20du%20camping%20propre

A Project by the International Development Research Center (IDRC). "Quick access to medical information is essential for quality patient care, medical research, and monitoring health trends. But in many parts of the developing world, obtaining information has been difficult, if not impossible, due to poor communications infrastructure, economic conditions, or disasters. This information gap has been reduced thanks to a reliable, inexpensive health information system called HealthNet. Today HealthNet provides health-care professionals even in remote areas of the South with medical information that was previously unattainable. The network is active in more than 30 developing nations (including 22 African countries), with more countries scheduled to join in the near future. Partly funded by IDRC, HealthNet uses radio- and telephone-based computer networks and a low-earth-orbit satellite to transfer medical information from one part of the world to developing countries and vice versa. 1, record 25, English, - HealthNet%3A%20An%20Electronic%20Lifeline

» 1, record 25, French, - HealthNet%20%3A%20une%20bou%C3%A9e%20de%20sauvetage%20%C3%A9lectronique

Collateral pledging and valuation -- 1. DCS [Debt Clearing Service] not available at all -- An emergency in DCS can affect LVTS [Large Value Transfer System] in at least two different ways. Firstly, a failure in DCS could affect the ability of participants to pledge collateral for LVTS purposes. In this case the Association would need to communicate with CDS to determine the expected time for CDS [Canadian Depository for Securities Limited] to be back up and fully operational. At this point, a decision would have to be made by CDS whether to move to CDS's interim manual pledging mechanism. Any delay in the availability of the DCS pledging function of more than two (2) hours would require the move to the interim pledging mechanism. 1, record 34, English, - interim%20manual%20pledging%20mechanism

A system over and beyond a system of lower logical order, and therefore capable of deciding propositions, discussing criteria, or exercising regulation for systems that are themselves logically incapable of such decisions and discussions or of self-regulation (because the metalogic is inaccessible to the system's logic, or the metalanguage is capable of statements inexpressible in the system's language). Note: a metasystem is of a higher logical order than a system, and not necessarily of higher "seniority" in the sense of command. For example: the school timetable is metasystemic to the timetable of a single class. 1, record 55, English, - metasystem

1, record 55, French, - m%C3%A9tasyst%C3%A8me

The fifth and largest planet is Jupiter. Its mass is 318 times that of the Earth, and its diameter is 86,700 miles, over 10 times the Earth's diameter. (...) There are markings which enable us to determine its period of rotation near the equator at 9 hours, 50 minutes (...) The period of rotation increases at latitudes nearer the poles, to about 9 hours and 56 minutes.
