Telles les scènes narratives décrites dans Locus Solus de Raymond Roussel, ces installations ne sont visibles qu'en frontalité et leur théâtralité est extrêmement prégnante. Le champ visuel est toutefois plus large ici et, contrairement [...] à l'installation fenêtre qui ne laissait qu'une petite ouverture où l'œil venait se coller, l'installation théâtrale est une scène de plus grande envergure qui sollicite la vision fovéale-maculaire, mais fort peu la kinesthésie.
