The Canadian Marsville Program is an on-line simulation of the first habitation of the planet Mars. The purpose of the program is to create a positive vision for young Canadians of the technological society they will inherit in the 21st century. The program shows students how they can play a role in establishing the kind of society they want for the future. Marsville has been designed for students in Grades 5 to 12. While primary educational thrust of Marsville is math, science and technology, the project uses a cross-curricular, holistic approach integrating various disciplines.

Le Programme Marsville canadien est une simulation en ligne de la première colonisation de la planète Mars. Le but du programme est de donner aux jeunes canadiens une image positive de l'environnement technologique qu'ils hériteront au 21ème siècle. Le programme permet de montrer aux élèves l'importance du rôle qu'ils pourront jouer dans la mise en place du type de société qu'ils souhaitent pour l'avenir. Marsville fut conçu pour des élèves de la 5ème à la 8ème années. Bien que l'effort éducationnel premier de Marsville se concentre sur les mathématiques, les sciences et la technologie, le projet a une approche holistique et transversale du curriculum en intégrant plusieurs disciplines.
