Breadmaking in Egypt has a very long history: it is believed that Egypt was the home of the art of leavening flour/water doughs. The largest portion of wheat flour is used in the traditional baladi bread. The flour blend used to produce modern baladi bread is usually a blend of 30% imported flour (72% extraction) and 70% domestic flour (82% extraction). Traditionally, this type of bread is made with a sour or starter dough, although this is added more for flavour than for leavening action. 3, record 19, English, - baladi%20bread

1, record 19, French, - pain%20baladi

The Broccio comes in the form of a ball of curd that has been flattened and presented in a returnable wicker basket, known as "les canestres", which varies in sizes. Broccio is usually eaten fresh, within forty eight hours, but if drained and salted it can be ripened like other cheeses. The ripening of this cheese represent about 15 % of the total production. It is an unusual cheese in that it is made from lactoserum, that is the whey that is recuperated after cheese making. One needs 11 liters of milk to obtain the lactoserum to produce a kilo of Broccio. 2, record 21, English, - Broccio

1, record 26, French, - fibre%20courte%20d%26rsquo%3Bamiante

Native grasses have been proposed for sustainable biomass production of bioethanol feedstocks in the prairie region of western Canada. ... Cool-season native grass species are preferred for re-seeding of sites for bioethanol feedstock in the prairie region of western Canada. The use of mammoth wildrye, green needlegrass and western wheatgrass, possibly in mixture, will provide the greatest biomass production across a range of environmental conditions with the possible exception of heavy clay sites in southern Manitoba. The culture of warm-season native grasses for bioethanol feedstock is not recommended.[Source: ethanol project - Paulnat.en p. 1]. 1, record 32, English, - bioethanol%20feedstock

1, record 36, French, - fermentation%20submerg%C3%A9e
