The DM Sub-Committee on Staffing and Staffing Recourse is focused on providing tools and support for departments and agencies to assist them in implementing the new flexibilities afforded by the PSEA (Public Service Employment Act). The DM Sub-Committee was established to provide strategic direction on critical issues linked to the implementation of the new PSEA, such as: Human Resources Planning, Support for the new staffing recourse and policy development by the central agencies. Le Sous-comité des sous-ministres chargé de la dotation et des recours en matière de dotation a pour mandat de fournir des outils et du soutien aux ministères et organismes afin de les aider à profiter de la nouvelle marge de manœuvre que leur donne la Loi sur l'emploi dans la fonction publique. More and more, public service leaders find themselves with direct reports scattered across geographical boundaries who must still work collaboratively to achieve shared business objectives. Despite the lack of face-to-face contact, leaders of a geographically dispersed workforce must create context and build unity in order to support the organization's vision and strategic priorities.
