Record number: 1, Textual support number: 1 DEF
2, record 1, French, - r%C3%A9gulation%20allost%C3%A9rique

Record 2, Textual support, English
Record number: 2, Textual support number: 1 DEF
Type of allosteric enzyme in which the substrate serves as the allosteric effector. These homotropic effects appear always to be cooperative (i.e. the binding of one ligand molecule to the protein enhances the binding of further ligand molecules) and are illustrated by the classical example for the haemoglobin - oxygen system. Other examples include enzymes possessing more than one substrate binding site. 2, record 2, English, - homotropic%20enzyme
Record number: 2, Textual support number: 1 CONT
Homotropic enzymes contain two or more binding sites for the substrate; modulation of these enzymes depends on how many of the substrate sites are occupied. 3, record 2, English, - homotropic%20enzyme
Record 2, French
Record 2, Domaine(s)

Record 2, Abbreviations, French
Record 2, Synonyms, French
Record 2, Textual support, French
Record number: 2, Textual support number: 1 DEF
2, record 2, French, - enzyme%20homotrope
Record number: 2, Textual support number: 1 OBS
1, record 2, French, - enzyme%20homotrope
