What sets DCD design apart from the conventional diamond interchange is that it combines left-turning traffic with through traffic. This is accomplished by directing left-turning and through vehicles to the opposite side of the road at ramp terminals. The result is that, between ramp terminals, both directions of traffic travelling over the bridge switch from the right-hand side to the left-hand side of the road. 4, record 39, English, - diverging%20diamond%20interchange

1, record 39, French, - %C3%A9changeur%20avec%20sens%20de%20circulation%20invers%C3%A9s

Some segments of proteins are flexibly attached to the bulk of the molecule. The higher mobility of such segments compared with the overall structure has been shown by time-resolved fluorescence polarization spectroscopy. For example, in an immunoglobulin molecule, a part that is attached to the major portion by a "hinge" of polypeptide (the Fab fragment) has a measured correlation time of 33 ns, compared with 168 ns for the overall structure.... In many enzymes the catalytic region lies between two globular domains, so that access to the site is regulated by hinge-bending deformations of the entire protein molecule - deformations that separate the lobes or bring them together. 2, record 40, English, - hinge%2Dbending

Two-Fluid Model. The final type of multiphase model is the multiple fluid model (better known as the two fluid model designating two phases or components). This model treats the general case of modelling each phase or component as a separate fluid with its own set of governing balance equations. In general each phase has its own velocity, temperature and pressure. The velocity difference as in the separated flow is induced by density differences. The temperature differences between the phases is fundamentally induced by the time lag of energy transfer between the phases at the interface as thermal equilibrium is reached. 1, record 41, English, - two%2Dfluid%20model

3, record 45, French, - corps%20rigide

A PAPR, powered air purifying respirator, is a positive air system that uses a battery to power a blower, which then pumps air through a filter into a mask or a hood. The blower, battery and filters are usually belt-worn, and connected to the hood or mask by a breathing tube. The clean, filtered, cool air flows into the breathing zone. The airflow is much higher than the wearer needs to breathe, and the excess flow creates a positive pressure as it passes through the mask. This pressure pushes out, and keeps contamination from leaking in. This is different from a normal gas mask, which uses the wearer's lung power to pull air through a filter.

3, record 60, French, - regroupement%20des%20grands%20%C3%A9tablissements

A rough analysis reveals the presence of periods during which no error is encountered. Let these remission periods be called "gaps of rank 0" if their duration exceeds one hour. By contrast, any time interval flanked by gaps of rank 0 is singled out as being a "burst of errors of rank 0." As the analysis is made three times more accurate, it reveals that the original burst is itself "intermittent". That is, shorter gaps "of rank 1," lasting 20 minutes or more, separate correspondingly shorter bursts "of rank 1." Likewise, each of the latter contains several gaps "of rank 2," lasting 400 seconds, separating bursts" of rank 2," and so on, each stage being based on gaps and bursts that are three times shorter than the previous ones. 3, record 83, English, - gap
