1, record 2, French, - microlivre

Record number: 3, Textual support number: 1 CONT
Virtual history, also referred to as counterfactual history, is a form of history which attempts to answer "what if" questions. It seeks to explore history and historical processes from the point of view of extrapolating a position in which certain key historical events did not happen or had an outcome which was different to that which did in fact occur. Most historians regard counterfactual history as sometimes entertaining, but not meeting the standards of mainstream historical research due to its speculative nature. 5, record 3, English, - counterfactual%20history

Les Anglais disent What if? 1, record 3, French, - histoire%20contrefactuelle

Exhibition of the Canadian Museum of Civilization. " This exhibition of 49 woven tapestries and 10 drawings demonstrates how Inuit women in Pangnirtung on Baffin Island adapted a foreign technique to their own social and artistic needs. The ancient technique of Aubusson weaving allows trained weavers to interpret drawings by local artists into stories in wool. Out of the dialogue between two media come tapestries of immaculate craftmanship which tell stories about Inuit culture past and present. As weaver Leesee Kakee states: "Some people might think these are just wallhangings but they are a part of us, our ancestors, our lives." 1, record 4, English, - Nuvisavik%2C%20The%20Place%20Where%20We%20Weave
