Record number: 3, Textual support number: 1 DEF
4, record 3, French, - n%26oelig%3Bud%20de%20chaise%20double%20avec%20le%20double
Record number: 3, Textual support number: 1 OBS

A round turn and two half hitches is used on many occasions when a line with some load on it is to be secured to a spar of some sort or an eye. Once the full round turn has been taken, the load can be held while the two half hitches are put on for security. It can also be cast off while under tension. Perhaps the most common uses are in securing a dinghy to a mooring ring, or tying fenders to cabintop grabrails. 1, record 6, English, - round%20turn%20and%20two%20half%20hitches

1, record 6, French, - tour%20mort%20et%20deux%20demi%2Dclefs
