The Amazon Cooperation Treaty is an international agreement subscribed by 8 countries: Brazil, Venezuela, Colombia, Ecuador, Peru, Bolivia, Suriname and Guyana, with a total surface of 13.6 million square kilometers. The treaty applies to all territories in the Amazon River basin, as well as to those territories with closely linked geographic, ecological or economic characteristics ...
