Par exemple, un ressortissant d’un pays A veut venir au Canada, mais a besoin d’un visa qu’il ne peut obtenir pour diverses raisons. Il se rend dans le pays Z (dont les ressortissants n’ont pas besoin de visas pour venir au Canada) et y investit 40 000 dollars. Le pays Z lui attribue immédiatement sa nationalité et lui délivre un passeport. Il peut donc venir au Canada sans devoir demander un visa.
