In the ocean, changes in oceanic temperature and circulation could affect the atmosphere-ocean CO2 flux; on the continents, climate change could affect plant photosynthesis and soil microbial respiration and hence the flux of CO2 between the atmosphere and the land biosphere. 1, record 1, English, - climate%2Dcarbon%20cycle%20feedback

2, record 1, French, - r%C3%A9troaction%20climat%2Dcycle%20du%20carbone

Because carbon dioxide is still the biggest contributor to the anthropogenic greenhouse effect, and because it was the first to be identified, the experts measure the greenhouse effect of other trace gases in terms of their carbon dioxide equivalent - this also makes it easier to take on board and update the estimates of future climatic changes based on the carbon dioxide effect alone, simply by adding in the appropriate extra amount of carbon dioxide. 1, record 2, English, - anthropogenic%20greenhouse%20effect

3, record 2, French, - effet%20de%20serre%20anthropique
