An inflammatory reaction seen following the intradermal or subcutaneous injection of an antigen to which the animal has already made antibody. Réaction d’immunité humorale. La combinaison antigène-anticorps susceptible de fixer le complément forme des immuncomplexes qui se déposent dans les parois vasculaires où ils provoquent une inflammation(phénomène d’Arthus). Les anticorps sont des IgG ou des IgM de type précipitant; les manifestations pathologiques apparaissent après quelques heures et la réaction est dite semi-retardée.
