The doors are removable units which permit access to the fuselage or compartments within the fuselage by passengers, crew, or maintenance personnel. The doors are categorized according to function: passenger/crew doors, emergency exit doors, cargo doors, service doors, fixed interior doors, landing gear doors. A door warning system indicates to the flight crew that all doors are closed and latched.
