La salle de traite parallèle DeLaval présente une capacité de traite élevée, ce qui signifie qu'il est possible d’augmenter le débit des vaches. Lorsque la contention avant est en position d’entrée, les larges couloirs et l'espace supplémentaire accélèrent les déplacements et permettent aux vaches de tourner facilement et d’entrer aisément dans les stalles. Les portillons de séparation en cascade assurent un remplissage rapide et régulier de la salle de traite, permettant ainsi aux vaches de se placer correctement sans hésitation. Le système d’indexation fait reculer la vache en position idéale pour la traite. Une fois la traite achevée, la contention avant s’ouvre et les vaches sont rapidement libérées.
