5, record 1, French, - radioactivit%C3%A9%20naturelle

Thorium (chemical symbol Th) is a naturally-occurring radioactive metal found at very low levels in soil, rocks, and water. It has several different isotopes, both natural and man-made, all of which are radioactive. The most common form of thorium is thorium-232, found naturally. ... Thorium-232 has a half-life of 14 billion (14 x 109) years, and decays by alpha emission, with accompanying gamma radiation. Thorium-232 is the top of a long decay series that contains key radionuclides such as radium-228, its direct decay product, and radon-220. ... 6, record 4, French, - m%C3%A9thode%20potassium%2Dargon

Earliest form of propellant powder, reputed to have been first made by the Chinese in the 1st century and first used for guns by the Arabs in the 12th century. It is a mechanical mixture of approximately 75 parts potassium nitrate or sodium nitrate (saltpeter), 15 parts charcoal and 10 parts sulphur. It usually comes in four granulations: a. FFFFg, the finest granulation, is used mainly for priming flintlock firearms and in pyrotechnics; b. FFFg, is used as a load for firearms of .40 inch calibre or less; c. FFg, is used as a load for firearms over .40 inch calibre and up to .58 inch calibre; and d.
