Semantic segmentation focuses on classifying each pixel in an image into a specific category. It assigns a unique class label to each pixel in an image and divides it into one of the predefined set of semantic categories, such as person, car, or tree. However, this segmentation technique does not differentiate between instances of the same class and treats them as a single entity. Imagine coloring a scene where all cars are blue, all people are red, and everything else is green – that’s semantic segmentation in action. 2, record 1, English, - semantic%20segmentation

2, record 1, French, - segmentation%20s%C3%A9mantique

Saddle-notch corners: These are also known as saddle cope or round notch. They get their name from the saddle shaped notch cut into the bottom of each round log. This notch on the bottom of the top log straddles the top of the log coming from the perpendicular wall. Both logs then extend past the corner. The opposing walls of a saddle-notch corner system, both gable walls for example, start with a half log. This ensures that the logs overlap one another at the corners rather than butt into each other. The saddle-notch is one of the most traditional corner intersections and is favored by many handcrafters. 1, record 22, English, - saddle%2Dnotch%20corner

Friends of the Earth first proposed environmental certification/labelling of timber when it launched its rainforest campaign in 1985, and discussions on timber labelling initially related principally to tropical timber. ... Governments and timber labelling schemes. Only one government - that of Austria - has attempted to establish a mandatory labelling scheme for timber. This scheme was initially intended to apply only to tropical products, and would have required a label to be placed on all tropical timber goods stating the country of origin and giving notice that the product was derived from a tropical forest source. After protests from a number of tropical countries, but particularly from Malaysia, the scheme was dropped, and replaced by a voluntary programme under which companies may apply to a special commission for a 'sustainability' label for either tropical or non-tropical timber products. 1, record 25, English, - timber%20labelling

3, record 33, French, - niveau%20de%20bruit%20de%20fond

Air release chambers are installed ahead of any metering equipment to ensure accurate measurement of fuel flow. They may be installed in either the pumphouse or on the dispensing platform. They operate on the reduced flow velocity principle which separates and eliminates air from the fuel. As the fuel enters the air release chamber (the diameter of which is much greater than the diameter of the inlet to the air release body), the velocity of the flow is greatly reduced allowing an interval of time for the air to separate from the fuel. The air, being lighter than the liquid, rises to the top of the chamber, where it remains until a sufficient quantity has accumulated to lower the liquid level, causing the float to drop, which in turn opens the vent valve and allows the accumulated air to escape. In most cases the line from the air vent is returned to the storage or scavenger tank to prevent spraying fuel into the surrounding area in case of a malfunction of the air release chamber. 1, record 39, English, - air%20release%20chamber

1, record 39, French, - chambre%20de%20d%C3%A9sa%C3%A9ration

In using the graphic method of rotation the main objects are to eliminate negative loadings and to describe the data by as few non-zero loadings as possible. The aims of the varimax method are somewhat similar. The factors are rotated in such a way that the new loadings tend to be either relatively large or relatively small in absolute magnitude compared with the original ones. This is accomplished (...) by maximising a certain function of the squares of the loadings, the procedure being iterative. In Kaiser's original method the factors were rotated in pairs until the loadings converged to their final values. 1, record 43, English, - Varimax%20method

1, record 43, French, - m%C3%A9thode%20Varimax
