Le Front de libération nationale(FLN) est un parti politique socialiste algérien, présidé par le président de la république Abdelaziz Bouteflika. Il est créé en novembre 1954 pour obtenir de la France l'indépendance de l'Algérie. Le FLN et sa branche armée, l'ALN(Armée de libération nationale), commence alors la lutte armée, qui se traduit au début par des attentats ciblés. Par la suite, le mouvement s’organise et, en 1958, le FLN forme un gouvernement provisoire, le GPRA.
