Bird Migration Routes.- Many North American birds come to the far northern regions of the continent in summer to reproduce and raise their young. Long summer days in the north produce an abundance of insects and plants for birds and their young to eat. Si l'on produit des mousses de différents métaux(cuivre, titane, magnésium,...), les mousses métalliques les plus prometteuses et les plus faciles à fabriquer à l'heure actuelle sont les mousses d’aluminium ;elles intéressent en particulier [les secteurs de] l'automobile et de l'aéronautique.

OBS

La plus prometteuse des mousses métalliques est celle d’aluminium, qui se caractérise par une masse volumique ( 0,3 g/cm3) et un point de fusion ( 660 °C) peu élevés. Des propriétés de ce genre facilitent le traitement du matériau et le choix des agents moussants, la température de décomposition se situant dans une plage de 500 à 700 °C.
