Canada-Saskatchewan Agri-Food Innovation Fund, known as AFIF. Established in 1995, the Fund grew from an idea into reality and has helped eight key sectors of the agriculture economy grow. The federal-provincial agreement under which the Fund operated ended on March 31, 2003, but many of the AFIF-generated benefits will continue to provide A Lasting Legacy in the province for years to come. AFIF provided financial support to about 300 projects, embracing a wide range of research and development activities within the expanding agriculture and food sector of the Saskatchewan economy. Kjeldahl : Méthode chimique de dosage de l'azote dans un produit agro-alimentaire. La méthode consiste à minéraliser l'échantillon par voies humide à l'aide d’acide sulfurique et de catalyseur minéral(cuivre, sélénium, etc.) en chauffant jusqu'à disparition de toute coloration. La totalité des formes organiques d’azote est convertie en sulfate d’ammonium. L'ammoniaque est déterminée par une technique appropriée(distillation, électrode spécifique, etc.). Couramment, on multiplie le résultat par 6, 25 ou par un coefficient spécifique pour l'échantillon, pour obtenir le taux de «protéines brutes».
